Jamie O'Leary

Jamie O'Leary

Franchise Owner

Jamie and her husband Sean are the owners of several Jovie franchises in western Washington and in Minnesota. She is a Tacoma native and alumna of Curtis High School. Jamie graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Child Development. After college, Jamie went to work as a Program Director at a childcare center, followed by a career in recruiting and sales. In 2013 Jamie “retired” from the corporate world to stay home with their three small children. Now, as a Jovie owner, Jamie has the opportunity to combine business with passion to strengthen local families in the community where she grew up.

Casandra

Casandra

General Manager

Casandra is the General Manager for Jovie supporting our teams and families in St. Paul, Woodbury and Lakeville Minnesota as well as in Mill Creek, Renton and Tacoma Washington. A graduate from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Child Psychology, Casandra began her career as the administrator of an early childhood learning center and worked to provide quality child care and education to children. There, Casandra enjoyed being an important part of the children's lives every day, in addition to being a mentor and leader to her team of teachers. After many years, Casandra decided it was time for a change and went on an adventure with Disney Cruise Line as their Manager of Youth Activities. In her new role she led a large team of Youth Counselors from around the globe providing the magic of the Disney experience to vacationing families, while having the unique opportunity to travel the world. Casandra has been working with Jovie, formerly College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors, since November of 2013. She is passionate about helping families find their optimal childcare solution and seeing the great impact it has. You will often find Casandra out in the community talking to people about Jovie and working to Build Stronger Families.

Family Placement Manager

Camber is the Family Placement Manager for our Jovie teams serving Mill Creek, Renton, Tacoma and surrounding communities throughout the Puget Sound region. She is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business Management. Camber worked with kids all throughout high school and college, then transitioned into restaurant management. Through becoming a wife and mother of three vibrant children, Camber has realized her passion for family, and she is excited to blend her love of children and hospitality with her role as the Family Placement Manager. When Camber is not helping our wonderful families or mentoring our fabulous role models, she is busy perfecting a new recipe, playing hide-and-seek with her kiddos, or out looking for orca whale sightings around Puget Sound. Camber is eager to help others care for and Build Stronger Families within the community.

Jasmine

Role Model Manager

Jasmine is the Role Model Manager supporting our offices in St. Paul, Woodbury, and Lakeville Minnesota as well as in Mill Creek, Renton, and Tacoma Washington. Jasmine is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she pursued a degree in Mass Communications while nannying for several families. After graduating in 2013, she started her career in journalism but quickly turned her focus toward management. She enjoys building successful teams and coaching individuals to meet and exceed their goals. She's worked in retail management and administrative management. She has always had a great passion for childcare and has provided various care for many families throughout her career and loves being able to work with individuals who are enthusiastic and passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.

Melanie

Family Placement Manager

Melanie is the Family Placement Manager for Jovie of St. Paul, Woodbury and Lakeville in Minnesota. A graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University with a degree in Theatre Arts, Melanie also received her Early Childhood Education Certificate from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. She taught in the classroom for nearly 8 years before taking on an administrator role of an early learning center where she managed and led a team of 28 staff and teachers in an effort to provide high-quality early childhood education to the South Minneapolis Community. Her favorite part about working in the childcare/education field is creating strong relationships with families. At Jovie, Melanie enjoys the opportunity to use her passion and talent to help build stronger families throughout the Twin Cities communities.

Shannon

Recruiting and Engagement Coordinator

Shannon is the Recruiting and Engagement Coordinator for our offices in Washington State and Minnesota. A graduate of the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis, Shannon brings a creative approach to her role, leveraging her training in client relations and organizational skills to effectively support recruitment initiatives. Currently balancing her career with the joys of motherhood, Shannon is a proud mom of three children. Her deep love for her family fuels her commitment to creating supportive and inclusive work environments. Shannon's professional mission is complemented by her personal passion for children, making her a compassionate advocate for family-oriented policies and practices in the workplace. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring creative activities with her children. Her nurturing spirit and dedication to both her career and family make her a valued member of any team, where she strives to help Build Stronger Families.
