Meet the Team
Doina B.
Franchise Owner
Doina was born and raised in Constanța, Romania and moved to Houston, Texas in December of 2000. She earned her B.A. in Economics from Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and later completed her M.B.A. in Finance at the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
Before becoming a business owner, Doina built her professional experience with organizations such as Stewart Title, Coastal Bank, and GEMSA Loan Services. While she loved working in the finance industry, she felt a calling to combine her passion for strategic operations with her desire to positively impact families in her community. That calling led her to entrepreneurship.
Today, through her work with Jovie, she is committed to providing high-quality childcare services and helping families in the Katy, Bellaire, SE Houston area “Build Stronger Families.” As a mother of two, Doina understands the time-consuming and emotionally challenging process of finding the right caregiver. Her team interviews and selects her nannies with the same level of diligence, care, and intuition she would use when hiring for her own children.
When she’s not building meaningful solutions for families, Doina enjoys spending time with her children and her dog, Yoshi. She loves outdoor activities, traveling, and skiing, and is always excited to explore new places and experiences.
