As Franchise Owner of Jovie, together with our great team, Laura has been providing customized childcare for families, events and corporate back-up care programs since November 2004. As a family business, she enjoys knowing her family is supporting other families. Her son and daughter have been recipients of terrific nannies during their toddler and school-aged years and now her daughter is one of the sitters on the Jovie Team! At Jovie, Laura enjoys working with our families to understand how we can serve their changing needs. She leads Jovie's management teams who recruit, match and train the caregivers to provide exceptional childcare. Laura enjoys meeting new families through these partnerships, and learns daily from the management staff, nannies and sitters.

Lizzie is the Managing Director for Jovie offices in Washington, California, and Minnesota. She leads our team of directors and managers across all three states, ensuring that every family is matched with a trusted, reliable caregiver and that every nanny feels supported and set up for success.

Caring, organized, and results-driven, Lizzie brings a deep passion for early childhood development and a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality care solutions.

Lizzie has dedicated her professional life to working with children. She earned a BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Human Development from Washington State University and a Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University. A former nanny and 2nd and 4th grade teacher, she brings firsthand experience and insight into her daily work with families and caregivers.

At home, Lizzie and her husband are proud parents to two young children, who inspire her every day and deepen her commitment to helping families navigate their own care journeys.

Meredith is the Senior Director of Childcare Services. She supports Jovie managers across all our locations as they hire and train for their nanny and sitter teams. Meredith loves finding opportunities to connect families with exceptional caregivers! Originally from Virginia, Meredith attended the University of South Carolina, where she obtained a degree in Anthropology. After graduating, she spent a year doing service through AmeriCorps. Following that transformative year, she spent six years in the non-profit sector, recruiting college students to mentor and tutor elementary school students in the lowest-income parts of Washington, DC. She moved to Los Angeles in 2013 and spent six years in marketing and sales in the test prep industry with both Kaplan Test Prep and The Princeton Review. In 2017, she brought all those experiences to Jovie, where she now helps families with their childcare needs. She spends her free time knitting, doing yoga, or exploring the outdoors with her son.

Katie is the Senior Director of Recruitment at Jovie. She works to manage full life-cycle recruiting processes for Jovie offices in Minnesota, Washington, and California. Originally from Wisconsin, Katie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Viterbo University (LaCrosse, WI). She has 10+ years of hiring/managing experience and originally joined Jovie in 2018 as a Recruiter. Katie brings her excitement, commitment, and team-building drive to a fast-paced, multi-state team. Childcare has never been more in the spotlight and the changing landscape energizes Katie each day. Katie is a connecter. As a graduate of Winona State University with a degree in Communication Studies and Adventure Tourism, Kaela is a true adventurer at heart, bringing all of her curiosity and energy to her Jovie role. Kaela worked with children for her entire college career and wanted to help others do the same! Her role at Jovie does this and so much more. Mentoring our caregivers and helping them connect with families is key. She has 8+ years of customer service experience and appreciates building strong connections with others. Each day Kaela brings her enthusiastic, motivated, and friendly personality to her team. In her free time, she likes to be outside, cook, see live music, and travel. She recently nabbed a Taylor Swift Eras Tour Ticket and she is still in a bit of a Lavender Haze.

Caroline is the Regional Family Placement Manager for all our California locations. With 20 years of experience in client relations, the film/TV industry & customer service (and almost a decade as a parent), she brings her empathy, knowledge of people, communication, and creative problem-solving to the table. She has a BFA in Theatre with a Musical Theatre Emphasis and is a mother of two hilarious boys and a menagerie of pets. Since joining Jovie in 2020, Caroline and her family have relocated from Burbank, CA, to Kettering, OH, to be closer to family. It’s easy to relate to families wanting the best care for their children, and Caroline delivers ideal nanny matches with genuine care and attentiveness. She enjoys wheel pottery, yoga, baking with her kids, and gardening in her free time.

Prior to Jovie, Alicia spent eight years with the Issaquah School District, where she coordinated the District’s Before and After School Care program. A proud graduate of Bellevue College, she was born and raised on the Eastside and now lives in Newcastle. Soleil leads Jovie’s Back-Up Care and Staffing Operations as the Senior Manager, bringing a strong foundation in communication, team leadership, and operational excellence. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication from Arizona State University and oversees all facets of staffing logistics to ensure consistent, high-quality support for the care team.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Soleil is fluent in the language of people, process, and purpose. When she's not optimizing staffing strategies or uplifting her team, she enjoys reading, planning her next travel adventure, and spending time with her partner and their beloved fur babies.

Chris is the Senior Manager of Respite Services where he leads the development and delivery of respite care programming for families across the region. He works closely with caregivers and clients to ensure high-quality, personalized care that meets every child's unique needs. Chris is deeply committed to making respite services accessible and reliable.

Originally from Australia and England, Chris holds a degree in Child Development and spent 15 years working directly with children across various diagnoses, both in schools and in-home settings. That hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of family dynamics, behavior support, and the importance of thoughtful, individualized care.

Since joining Jovie, he has brought that expertise to the forefront, helping grow the respite program into a trusted, supportive resource for families and caregivers alike.

Franky serves as the Manager of Respite Services at Jovie of California, where he oversees all respite care staff and plays a central role in supporting families. He works closely with clients to assist with scheduling, address questions, and ensure that every family receives compassionate, high-quality care. With a commitment to excellence, Franky ensures his team delivers consistent, personalized service that meets the unique needs of each family.

Franky brings over 8 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), having started his career as a paraprofessional within school settings. He later advanced to the role of Program Supervisor at an adult vocational and behavioral facility in Orange, California, where he developed strong leadership and client service skills.

A graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Franky combines his academic background with real-world experience to foster an inclusive, responsive, and caring environment for both his team and the families they serve.

Bianca is the Recruiting Manager for Respite in our California locations. Born and raised in San Diego, Bianca has an undeniable love for her community and enthusiasm for connecting with people. Before stepping into the realm of recruitment, Bianca honed her skills in the beauty industry. This experience polished her interpersonal skills and instilled in her a keen eye for individual talents and qualities. Bianca has also ventured into education, working with children in after-school programs and serving as an assistant teacher at the San Diego Naval Base Child Development Center. These experiences contributed to her well-rounded approach to human connection, which she now applies to her role as a Recruiting Manager. Her downtime revolves around new experiences with her family, delving into the local scene, or indulging in San Diego's diverse culinary offerings during a fun brunch or dinner!
