I'm Chris and excited to be a part of this team of wonderful people. A little bit about me - I have been working in the banking industry for over 25 years striving to build strong relationships professionally and personally. I went to Pepperdine University to earn a Bachelor in Science / Finance. I have one tremendous daughter that makes me proud and amazed everyday. Being a mom has been the best thing in my life for sure! She graduated from UC Santa Barbara and is a sports broadcaster. She was also a tutor after going to college and loved seeing the kids light up when they learned new things. She is one of the reasons that Jovie is very exciting to me. I also have two dogs, a senior and a recently adopted puppy, that I cherish dearly. I'm thrilled and excited to be working with all of you and seeing your children grow up. There is nothing like seeing our children succeed and reach new challenges. All of our Role Models look forward to becoming part of YOUR family. I grew up in Orange County (Huntington Beach) my entire life. My family has three generations in Huntington Beach. To name just a few things I love; people & the community, animals, family, volunteering, the beach and constant learning! I am truly grateful everyday!

Natalie Erickson

Hello! My name is Natalie. I started working with Jovie back in early 2022 when we were still known as College Nannies, Sitters, and Tutors. I joined the team as a caregiver and instantly fell in love with this line of work. Brightening the days of young ones by facilitating learning and play has been an incredibly enriching experience. Providing in-home care has given me insight into different lifestyles, and I’ve learned many valuable lessons from observing the families I work with.

I have also found healing through embracing my inner child and actively engaging with the kiddos and babies. This job has strengthened my empathy, responsibility, and positivity. After being promoted to management, I began sharing why I love the sitter position, helping to bring many other wonderful caregivers onto our team. I look forward to the continued growth of our branch and encourage all who are reading this to trust in our dedication to our motto: building stronger families.

A bit about me: I spend most of my free time roller skating at different skateparks across SoCal—I love movement! Dancing, running, practicing yoga, biking, and hiking are some of my other favorite activities. I also enjoy spending time with my younger sister whenever my schedule allows. Music is another passion of mine, and I get a lot of joy from attending concerts and other music-based events.

I consider myself an open-minded person who loves pushing past societal constraints to find happiness. I express myself through my fashion and home decor, and I believe these qualities carry over into my work—I’ve received feedback that I am upbeat and welcoming!

Stacey Vallespir

Hi,

I am Stacey and have recently been blessed with becoming a new Mama. My little guy sure does keep me on my toes! I understand how important the early years are for our kiddos and find it fulfilling to work with caregivers that value the time just as much as us parents do. It is special to see someone other than yourself light up around your children.

For many years I worked in the food and hospitality industry after going to culinary school in New York City. Although I love cooking, I decided to switch gears to make more time for my family and the other hobbies I enjoy. I am currently a massage therapist, love to cook, get outside, do yoga, practice martial arts, and be artistic whenever I get a chance. I am excited to be a part of the Jovie team and I'm looking forward to helping families find childcare that they can trust. I am inspired by all the great caregivers I meet and thrilled to connect them with families in Orange County and the surrounding areas.

Amie Beld

Marketing Manager

Hi there!

I'm Amie Beld, the Marketing Manager at Jovie Newport Beach. I've been a part of the Jovie family since August 2023, starting as a nanny and diving into the world of marketing in January 2024. Now, I'm responsible for crafting our social media presence, designing marketing materials, and planning exciting events for our kids and nannies.

It's been an absolute blast working at Jovie! The team here is like a second family, and I love the supportive and nurturing environment. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to apply my passion for marketing and child development to a company that genuinely cares about its community.

Before joining Jovie, I graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Marketing and a minor in Family and Human Development. I have been an aunt since I was 12 years old and started to babysit ever since then! My love for caring for children is strong, and I'm thrilled to be able to combine my education with my passion for making a positive impact on families' lives.

When I'm not busy on the Jovie social media, you can find me exploring the beautiful Orange County beaches, traveling to a new destination, making fun little videos, dancing to my favorite tunes, or making jewelry. I'm always up for trying new things and cherishing the simple joys of life.
