Schedule: Mon-Fri, 20-hour weekly guarantee (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM window)
Overview
Jovie of Edmond is seeking a professional, seasoned nanny for a loving family in Edmond expecting their first child in March 2026. The father is a medical resident, and the mother is looking for a supportive "nanny partner" to help navigate their first years of parenthood. This is a long-term role (2–4 years) for a caregiver who values attachment-based care and traditional developmental philosophies.
The Role & Family Philosophy- The family prioritizes a "No Cry It Out" approach. They are looking for a caregiver who is naturally warm, responsive, and patient.
- Attachment Care: Immediate comfort and emotional support for the infant are non-negotiable.
- Bilingual Household: Respect and support for a Ukrainian/English environment.
- Screen-Free: 100% engagement without the use of personal devices or TV around the child.
- Traditional Values: A focus on kindness, empathy, and patience over academic pressure.
Responsibilities- Full infant care including feeding, bottle sterilization, and diapering.
- Engaging in developmental play (reading, singing, nature walks in the backyard).
- Light household support: "Resetting" the kitchen and nursery, child's laundry, and dishwasher management.

The Ideal Candidate- Experience: Extensive professional infant experience (5+ years preferred) with a track record of long-term commitment to families.
- Temperament: Happy, "go-with-the-flow" personality who enjoys mentoring first-time parents and sharing their wealth of childcare knowledge.
- Health: Up-to-date Tdap vaccination is required.
Jovie Minimum Hiring Requirements
To be considered for this or any Jovie position, candidates must meet the following:- Professional References: Must provide at least three professional references from previous childcare roles (Nanny, Teaching, or Daycare).
- Experience: At least 2 years of verifiable childcare experience.
- Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Safety: Must be CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified before starting).
- Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Legal: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
