Job Description:
- FT Nanny needed in Mt Kisco for a lovely family with two children ages 4.5 and 2.5 with a baby due in March. Older child is in school all day and the younger one is in preschool in the 4 mornings a week so this is a great gig. Baby due in March, mom will be on Mat Leave for a while and you can negotiate an increase then.
Family is seeking a local, engaged, caring, organized and reliable caregiver. Job is full time with hours that are 3 days a week 7:30am-6:30pm and two days 8:30-5:30.
Reliability is a must as both parents will be heading to the city. Requirements are 5+ years of infant and toddler experience, live locally, must be legal, have car and license.
Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities are getting kids up and ready in the morning, drop off at school, meal prep, kids laundry, pick ups and drop offs, oversee homework, engaging with age appropriate activities, outdoor play.
Limit screen time by keeping the children engaged with books, crafts, imaginative play, educational games, neighborhood walks, playgrounds, library visits, etc.Foster good manners, kindness, independence, and confidence through positive reinforcement. Open and honest communication daily with parents.
No pets.
Pay is $1550/week with 50 hours guaranteed. Two weeks paid vacation, one week paid sick and major holidays paid off. This is a long term position. - guaranteed hours
