• After-School Nanny & Household Helper | Las Vegas, NV
  
  Part-Time (After-School & Evening Support) Monday–Friday (Approx. 16–18 hours/week)

  A warm, education-minded family in Las Vegas is looking for a structured, proactive, and responsible Nanny/Household Helper to support their two energetic children—a bright, independent 11-year-old boy and an active, chatty 6-year-old girl.
  
  This role is ideal for a strong role model who takes initiative, exercises great judgment, and loves blending active homework support with household management!
  
  
  ⏰Schedule Details
  
  *Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays: 3:15 PM – 7:00 PM *(School pickup at 3:15 PM)
  
  Tuesdays & Thursdays: 4:45 PM – 7:00 PM *(School pickup at 4:45 PM)
  
  Flexibility Required: Occasional evening flexibility up to 9:00 PM based on Mom's work schedule.
  
  
  🎯 Key Responsibilities
  
  1. Educational Support & Supervision
  
  11-Year-Old: Supervise and keep him accountable for completing his competition math assignments and extra practice. Ensure he completes his daily piano practice while dinner is being prepared.
  
  6-Year-Old: Provide direct, hands-on assistance with early literacy (reading books together) and simple math foundations.
  
  2. Daily Care & Routine Guidance
  
   Assist and supervise the 6-year-old during dinner to keep her focused, as well as supervise bath time.
  
   Provide gentle verbal encouragement and positive structure to keep both kids on track with their after-school routines.
  
  
  3. Meal Preparation & Kitchen Management
  
  Prepare healthy, homemade family dinners each evening using provided fresh ingredients.
  
  Pack simple "breakfast boxes" for the kids for the following morning.
  
  Note: The family avoids fast foods like pizza/fries and prefers clean, balanced meals.
  
  4. Household Assistance & Pet Care
  
  Light Housekeeping: Tidy common areas, assist with vacuuming as needed, and manage the children's laundry.

  Reliable & Proactive: Highly organized, demonstrates excellent judgment, and can solve minor day-to-day problems independently.

  Safe Driver: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for after-school pickups.

  ✨The core minimum hiring requirements for Jovie caregivers:
  
  Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  
  Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verified, professional childcare experience (nanny, babysitting, daycare, teaching, etc.).
  
  Certifications: Active CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain before starting).
  
  Background Check: Ability to pass comprehensive background checks (including criminal history and sex offender registries).
  
  Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
  
  Work Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  
  References: Valid, verifiable professional childcare references.
