Part-Time Nanny Needed Elmwood Park, NJ

Job Description:

• Seeking a responsible, caring, and energetic caregiver for a 4.5 MO infant in Elmwood Park, NJ. This is a long-term position with a wonderful family.

  
  

  Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00am – 5:00/6:00pm (27–30 hours per week)
  Start Date: August 2026
  Care Recipient: 4.5 MO + dog in house
  
  

  Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, loving care for a 4.5 MO infantTrack bottle intake and diaper changes

  • Follow consistent feeding, nap, and daily routines

  • Supervise tummy time and engage in age-appropriate play to support developmental milestones

  • Read books, participate in sensory activities, and encourage learning through active play

  • Introduce purees/solids around 6 months, following the family's guidance

  • Avoid screen time and provide outdoor walks/play when weather permits

  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment

  
  

  Baby-Related Household Tasks:

  • Baby laundryWash and sanitize bottles

  • Prepare baby food/purees as needed

  • Tidy the kitchen, dishes, and high chair after feedings

  • Keep nursery and play areas clean and organized

  
  

  Qualifications:

  • Prior infant care experience requiredKnowledge of infant development and milestones

  • Reliable, punctual, patient, and safety-focused
