  **Position Overview & Schedule**

  End Date: End of October (Daycare spot opens the first Monday of November)
  
  Primary Focus: Caring for a happy, crawling, and highly active 8.5-month-old baby girl.
  
  The Perfect Schedule for You: The family's ideal schedule is Wednesdays and Thursdays for 8 hours a day, arriving between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
  
  Incredible Flexibility: Need more hours? The family is incredibly flexible and happy to customize a schedule just for you! They can expand the role to 3 days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and can scale your shift length anywhere from 5 to 8 hours per day, up to 24 hours per week total. (Note: Mondays and Fridays are firm days off, as loving grandmothers handle care on those days)

  Sleep Training Enthusiast: The parents are eager to teach the baby to self-soothe and are looking for a nanny who can confidently support putting her down awake for her daily naps.
  
  Screen-Free Champion: The family maintains a strict zero-screen-time policy. Instead, they love a home filled with music and encourage you to play your favorite playlists or children's music.
  
  
  **Jovie’s Minimum Hiring Requirements**
  
  To ensure the absolute highest standard of care for our families, all Jovie candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:
  
  
  •  Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • At least two years of professional childcare experience, such as in a nanny role, daycare center, or teaching. Please note that casual family babysitting does not count toward this benchmark.
  • A minimum of 3, preferably 5, verifiable childcare references showcasing safety consciousness and reliability.
  • Your own reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
  •  A clean criminal history background check and willingness to participate in annual risk assessments.
  • Current certification or willingness to get certified or renewed in CPR and First Aid.
  • A strict non-smoking and non-vaping policy.
