  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
    
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Must be willing to transport children as part of duties.
  • Subject to a mandatory background check. 
    
  
  
  Responsibilities of Jovie sitters:
  
  
  • Transport children to and from after school activities..
    
  • Keep a watchful eye to ensure children feel secure and well-protected.
  • Prepare snacks as needed to keep everyone energized.
  • Become an honorary member of the family by building deep, trusting relationships with parents and kids alike.
    
  
  
  Location: Kirkwood (transportation of child from Ladue area during shift)
  Schedule: Monday-Friday: 3:00pm-6:00pm
  Pay: $16.00/hour + mileage
  Start Date: ASAP
  Duration: School year 2026-2027
  
  About the Family:
  
  A welcoming family in Kirkwood is looking for a reliable, patient, and kind after-school sitter for their 9-year-old child. If you love working with kids, helping them succeed in school, and don't mind a few wagging tails, they would love to meet you!  Needs include a 3:00pm pick-up from school in Ladue, then safely transport the child to the home in Kirkwood, shift to conclude each night at 6:00pm.  Guide and support the child to ensure all homework is fully completed by the end of your shift. A "kind but firm" approach mixed with patience works best! Safe driving record and reliable transportation are a must as well as being a non-smoker. Must be comfortable around pets (they have 3 small, friendly dogs!) If you are dependable, encouraging, and looking for a consistent Monday-Friday routine this may the part time job for you!
