Dynamic Full-Time Nanny Needed for Busy Household in Leawood, KS

Job Description:

• Jovie is seeking a warm, responsible, and dedicated full-time nanny to support a wonderful family in Leawood. This busy, loving family has four children and is looking for a reliable caregiver to provide comprehensive support throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing multiple children across various age groups, a calm and inclusive presence, and a proactive approach to household routines.
  
  Location: Leawood, KS 66206
  
  Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Full-time, 40 hours/week)
  
  Duration: Long-term placement preferred
  
  Start Date: ASAP
  
  👶 About the Children
  
  9-Year-Old: Thoughtful, kind, and bookish; loves writing, reading, and lacrosse.
  
  6-Year-Old: Creative, confident, and spirited; enjoys dance, t-ball, and imaginative play.
  
  4-Year-Old: Energetic, tiny but mighty; enjoys dancing, art, and morning activities.
  
  1-Year-Old: Active toddler exploring his world, needing attentive care, soothing, and developmental support.
  
  🏡 Household Environment
  
  Calm, respectful home with two pets (a large friendly dog and a cat) — nanny must be comfortable with animals.
  
  Fenced backyard and secure pool area.
  
  No expectation for pet care, but awareness and comfort around pets is important.
  
  The home includes carpeted stairs, and laundry is located on the main level.
  
  Parents value inclusivity, empathy, and kindness.
  
  No smoking or firearms in the home.
  
  🛠️ Nanny Responsibilities
  
  Full-time care for four children, ages 1 to 9.
  
  Assist with morning routines, including helping children get dressed, breakfast, and school drop-offs/pick-ups as needed.
  
  Engage children with age-appropriate play, learning activities, and outings.
  
  Support with light household duties such as:
  
  Folding laundry.
  
  Tidying up dishes and kids' spaces.
  
  Light meal prep (snacks/lunch items, chopping veggies, etc.).
  
  Be adaptable as family needs shift between childcare and household support.
  
  Collaborate smoothly with a hands-on parent who may be home during parts of the day.
  
  ✅ Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  
  Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience, with a strong background caring for multiple children and toddlers/infants.
  
  Certifications: CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
  
  Traits: Reliable, punctual, kind, inclusive, adaptable, and professional.
  
  Vetting: Comprehensive background check and professional references required.
