Two Day Nanny in Montgomery

Job Description:

• A warm, welcoming family is seeking a patient, engaging, and dependable nanny to become a long-term extension of their family. This position is primarily caring for their sweet one-year-old son while their older daughter, age five, attends kindergarten, with occasional care for both children. Target start date is the week of August 17 or August 24, 2026. The family is looking for someone who enjoys child-led play, values communication, and is open to supporting therapeutic goals in a positive, neuroaffirming way.
  
  Schedule
  
  
  • Mondays & Tuesdays - 8:45am-3:45pm (approximately 14 hours/week)
  • Occasional flexibility to stay until 4:00pm is appreciated
  • Weekend date nights would be a welcomed bonus but are not required
  
  
  Requirements, per family request
  
  Nanny must:
  
  
  • Have at least 2 years of established childcare experience, special needs experience or willingness to learn is important
  • Be patient, kind, and energetic
  • Remain calm under pressure and be skilled at using positive redirection
  • Communicate openly with parents and help foster a teamwork environment
  • Follow established routines and engage the children in age and developmentally appropriate activities
  
  
  Compensation
  
  
  • This position is hourly and pays between $19-$22/hr, pre-tax, based on experience
  • Additional opportunities for supplemental income are available
