Job Description:
- A busy and active family of five in Glen Ellyn is seeking a nanny to care for their three children, ages four, two and a half, and eight months. Their oldest is a lively and observant little girl who loves to play and engage in all things “girly,” while her little brother has lots of energy and is usually dancing or being silly. Both of the oldest children attend preschool, so a majority of the nanny’s day will be spent with the baby who is super go with the flow and relaxed. However, there will be points throughout the placement where all three children are home at the same time, so nanny needs to be able to care for all three.
Mom would love a nanny who can create educational plans and games for the kids to do throughout the week. Nanny is able to take the children on walks, to parks, and to social hours at the library. Parents both work from home so nanny needs to be comfortable with this arrangement. Family does have a friendly dog.
This placement begins October 13, 2026.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Requirements, per family request
Nanny must:- Have at least 5+ years of established childcare experience
- Be a non-smoker
- Have experience with three children of different age groups, or be comfortable caring for them
- Be willing to work with mom and dad as a team player and utilize open communication
Compensation- This position is hourly and pays between $18-$22/hr, pre-tax, based on experience
