Full Time Temporary Nanny in Wheaton

Position Type: Full Time

Position Location: Wheaton, Illinois

Office: Jovie Barrington |Schaumburg |Oak Brook |Wheaton Illinois

Job Description:

  • A warm and welcoming family in Wheaton is seeking an experienced, dependable, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their infant daughter beginning in early January 2027 until the end of March 2027. Both parents work in healthcare and are looking for a professional caregiver who will provide exceptional care for their little one while offering flexibility and peace of mind as Mom transitions back to work.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who loves working with infants, thrives in a clean and organized home, enjoys building trusting relationships with families, and who may be looking to fill a few months' time in early 2027. The family is looking for a confident, knowledgeable, and compassionate caregiver who brings meaningful professional infant-care experience.

    Schedule

Mom and Dad are both healthcare professionals with occasionally unpredictable schedules, so flexibility and strong communication are especially important. While most days will likely fall between 7:30/8:00 AM and 3:30/4:00 PM, some days may extend until approximately 5:30 PM. There may also be occasional weekdays off due to Mom's on-call schedule. The family guarantees 35 hours per week and will provide their anticipated schedule in advance.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for baby.
    • Follow established feeding, diapering, and sleep routines while adapting to her changing developmental needs.
    • Track feedings and other daily activities using the family's preferred app, if requested.
    • Engage baby in age-appropriate activities, including tummy time, reading, sensory play, and interactive developmental activities.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the baby.
    • Communicate openly with parents about baby's day, milestones, and changing needs.

    Requirements, per family request:

    • Previous professional nanny experience, preferably working with multiple families.
    • Strong hands-on experience caring for newborns and young infants.
    • Current infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule changes or extended hours.
    • Comfort working in a home with a dog.
