Job Description:
- A caring family in Ringwood is looking for a patient, compassionate nanny to help care for their four children, ages 8, 7, 6, and 5, during the busiest parts of their day. The children have a variety of additional support needs, and the family is hoping to find someone with special needs experience who brings a calm, understanding, and nurturing approach to childcare. Mom will be home throughout the day and is looking for an extra set of hands to help with morning routines, getting the children off to school, and evening routines, including dinner and bedtime. If you enjoy supporting children with different needs and want to make a meaningful difference for a family, this could be a wonderful fit!
Schedule- Monday–Friday | Before and after school
- Afternoon/evening hours: 4:00–8:00 PM
- Morning hours to be discussed with the family
Requirements- Have at least 2 years of childcare experience
- Have experience working with children with special needs
- Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable to each child's individual needs
- Enjoy engaging children through play and age-appropriate activities
- Be comfortable supporting daily routines alongside a parent
- Be a non-smoker, including vaping
Compensation- $18–$22/hour, pre-tax, based on experience
