Job Description:
- A warm and welcoming family in Palatine is looking for a dependable, organized nanny to care for their 13- and 7-year-old children after school! After having a wonderful long-term nanny through Jovie, they’re hoping to find someone who can become a valued part of their family. The ideal candidate is outgoing, communicative, and ready to help keep afternoons running smoothly by assisting with homework and managing the children’s busy activity schedules. This family truly appreciates their nanny and wants someone who will feel right at home! They also have a dog, so being comfortable around pets is a must.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday | 3:00–6:00 PM
Friday | 2:30–6:00 PM
Requirements- Have at least 2 years of childcare experience
- Be comfortable helping with homework and coordinating after-school activities
- Enjoy engaging with children and creating a positive after-school environment
- Be organized, flexible, and a strong communicator
- Be comfortable around dogs
- Be a non-smoker, including vaping
Compensation- $18–$22/hour, pre-tax, based on experience
- Additional opportunities for supplemental income
