Sitter (Full-Time, Suburbs Only)

  Who We Are:
  Jovie is a network of qualified nannies and sitters making an impact in their local community. With more than 20 years of experience, we provide nanny and sitter services across 37 states and nearly 200 locations nationwide. Our Chicagoland team is small, driven, and female-led—and we’re looking for friendly, reliable sitters to join us.  

  
  Hiring Full-Time sitters with daytime availability in the following areas:
  1. Glenview, Northbrook, Wilmette, Winnetka, Deerfield, Glencoe, Highland Park and Skokie.
  2. LaGrange, Western Springs, Oak Park, River Forest, Hinsdale, and Downers Grove.

  What You’ll Be Doing
  • Caring for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years (based on your experience)
  • Creating fun, engaging activities — crafts, games, and imaginative play
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
  • Helping with light clean‑up after meals and playtime
  • Working with a variety of families

  Requirements
  

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Prior childcare experience, including infants
  • 4-5 full weekdays available Monday-Friday 7am-7pm
  • Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain — we help!)

  • Willingness to complete sitter shifts prior to full-time guaranteed-hour contract. Promotion is dependent on initial performance. ​​​​​​​
