Afternoon Nanny in St. Charles

Position Type: Part Time

Position Location: Campton Hills, Illinois

Office: Jovie Barrington |Schaumburg |Oak Brook |Wheaton Illinois

Job Description:

  • A warm, fun-loving family in St. Charles, IL is looking for an engaging, patient, and dependable part-time nanny to join their household! With two energetic little ones and a new baby arriving in October, this family is excited to welcome an extra set of hands to help make their afternoons run smoothly.

This Disney-loving family has two adorable children, ages four and two, with a third little one on the way! Their son is a curious, inquisitive four-year-old who loves learning new things and sharing everything he discovers. He is full of questions, enjoys reading, and absolutely loves all things Disney, especially Frozen! He thrives with positive reinforcement, engaging activities, and opportunities to explore his interests. Their daughter is a spirited and adventurous two-year-old who loves climbing, exploring, and anything involving Disney princesses, especially Ariel from The Little Mermaid! She is still developing her communication skills, so a patient caregiver who can help her express herself and navigate those big toddler emotions would be a wonderful fit.

This is a family that loves spending time together! They encourage play in shared living spaces and value interaction, creativity, and quality time over independent play throughout the day. Their parenting approach combines structure with flexibility, emphasizing positive reinforcement, gentle redirection, and helping their children learn to navigate everyday challenges. Mom is a stay-at-home parent, and Dad works outside the home and occasionally travels. With a new baby arriving soon, they're hoping to find a reliable, caring nanny who can become a trusted part of their family's afternoon routine.

The family also has a laid-back orange tabby cat named Khaleesi, who is happy to lounge around and requires very little attention.
