Job Description:
- A lovely family who recently moved to the US from Italy is looking for an energetic, dependable nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 9 and 4! Your afternoon will begin with school pickup at Holy Family in Palatine before heading back to the family’s home in Buffalo Grove. Responsibilities will include helping the girls settle in after school, assisting with homework, and driving them to their various activities. The girls lead an active lifestyle, including competitive snow skiing, so someone who enjoys staying busy and is comfortable managing a packed schedule would be a great fit. The family is looking for an outgoing, flexible communicator who loves engaging with children and is comfortable around dogs. Occasional weekend availability may also be needed!
Schedule
Monday–Thursday | 3:15–6:15 PM
Occasional weekend availability may be requested
Requirements- Have at least 2 years of childcare experience
- Enjoy engaging children through play, creativity, and imagination
- Be comfortable driving children to school and extracurricular activities
- Be organized, flexible, and a strong communicator
- Be comfortable around dogs
- Be a non-smoker, including vaping
Compensation- $18–$22/hour, pre-tax, based on experience
