  • Jovie Nannies + Sitters is seeking an active and nurturing nanny to join a fun-loving family in Las Vegas! This is the perfect opportunity for a caregiver who enjoys creating memorable experiences with young children.

    About the Family:

    This vibrant family has two delightful children, a 2-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl. They need a part-time nanny to provide engaging activities and support during the weekends.

    About the Role:

    Schedule: Every other weekend, Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM.

    Responsibilities:

    Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors.

    Assist with meal preparation and feeding.

    Supervise playtime and nap time.

    Foster a positive and stimulating environment.

    Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up play areas.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience caring for children ages 2-3, with references to verify
    • Energetic, patient, and creative
    • Positive, peaceful and has the ability to teach through play
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Reliable and responsible

Job Description:


  • A professional, WFH family in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced, long-term Nanny for their infant daughter, who will be approximately 5 months old at the start date. This position requires a highly reliable candidate with extensive infant experience and a commitment to developmental care.

    Schedule & Duration

    Start Date: Monday, January 5th

    Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    Days: 3 days per week (Flexible for placement, consistent once schedule starts; preferred days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)

    Commitment: A long-term commitment of 9–12 months minimum is required.

    Child Profile (5-Month-Old Female)

    • The infant is currently following an eat, sleep, wake cycle. Care will involve combination feeding (bottles of breast milk/formula), maintaining a consistent nap schedule, and engaging in age-appropriate play.
    • Enrichment: Strict no-screen policy is enforced. The focus should be on reading, singing, talking, tummy time, and age-appropriate sensory play.

    • Health: The child is currently healthy, with minor occasional gas/stomach discomfort.

    • Future Planning: Nanny should be comfortable supporting a transition to solids using the Baby-Led Weaning approach after six months.


    Responsibilities & Duties

    • Duties are focused exclusively on the care and well-being of the child and are performed while the infant is awake or during naptime:
    • Full supervision and safety of the infant.
    • Following and adapting the feeding and sleep schedule.
    • All child-related laundry.
    • Washing and sanitizing all bottles and feeding supplies.
    • Maintaining and restocking the diaper station and managing the diaper pail.


    Candidate Requirements (Mandatory)

    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable, professional infant care experience (nanny or daycare setting).
    • Health: Must be fully up-to-date on all vaccinations (non-negotiable).

    • Punctuality: Absolute reliability and punctuality are required for the 7:00 AM start time.

    • Commitment: Willingness to commit to the family for 9–12 months.

    • Environment: Must be comfortable working in a home with two WFH parents and being around a small, elderly dog who is very mellow.


    Ideal Candidate Profile (Preferences)

    This dynamic Las Vegas family is comprised of a father and three young children (ages 7, 6, and a 1-year-old), with a newborn arriving in approximately two months, bringing the total to four children. The family maintains a highly organized schedule with active school-aged children involved in academic pursuits, music lessons (violin, piano), and Chinese school. The father is a physician with a demanding and variable work schedule, requiring a nanny who embodies reliability and a high degree of flexibility.

    The Opportunity:

    You will be joining a team of dedicated caregivers, working alongside an existing full-time nanny to provide comprehensive care. This role demands exceptional energy, a calm demeanor, and the ability to manage a bustling environment with grace and precision.
