Job Description:

We are currently hiring for our part-time sitter team! We are looking for after-school babysitters to work in the Cincinnati area! As a babysitter on our team, you create your own schedule based on when you are available to work. You will be scheduled with families based on your experience, availability, and location preferences. All families are trusted members of Jovie. About you:
- 1+ year of professional nanny, babysitting or other childcare experience such as camp counselor, big brother/big sister, church nursery volunteering, school courses
- Availability from 3pm - 11pm at least two weekdays, for 4 - 6 hour shifts within these times
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Engagement and desire to play, read, do arts and crafts or other fun activities
- Responsibility and reliability to support the family and children
- Willingness and ability to assist with homework as needed
- Minimum of 2 - 3 month commitment, longer if desired
- A driver's license and a reliable vehicle; possible transport of children
- Ability to pass a background screen; 3 references (2 of which are childcare-related)
- Age requirement of at least 17.5 years old

Jovie is looking for upbeat, engaging babysitters to provide support to loving local families while caring for children of all ages! When on the job, you’ll organize outdoor adventures, sing songs, read books, find opportunities for imaginative play, or just be a buddy. You’ll handle naps, meals and schedules. We ask that you:
- Are available to work at least 3 days a week (Monday- Saturday) from 7am-7pm (shifts are 8-10 hours long, never 12 hours) ensures we can provide you with a consistent volume of work. After-school hours are also available. Looking for really part time? We can get you into our weekend sitter program working 4+ hour shifts a few weekend days per month.
- Have 2 or more years of experience (paid or unpaid!) working with children means you can provide 2 glowing references to tell us about your childcare experience. We’ll want a character reference as well! Have the ability to reach assignments with a safe and reliable vehicle, current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to become certified), and a clean background screen. You will want to ensure the safety of the children in your care at all times and maximize your time with the kiddos with engagement and active attention.
