We have been proudly serving families in Wayzata, Minnetonka, Orono, Plymouth, and surrounding communities since 2004. Locally owned and operated, we are part of your community, here to support your family with your childcare needs.

Jovie offers full-time, part-time, after school, and summer nanny placement and employment. We also provide professional babysitting services for your hourly childcare needs, including date night, workday support, or weekend get-away coverage.

Franchise Owner

As franchise owner of College Nannies and Tutors, together with our great team, we have been providing customized childcare and tutoring since November 2004. Our son and daughter have been recipients of our terrific nannies during their toddler and school aged years to meeting with our role model tutors to help their current high school studies.

At College Nannies and Tutors I enjoy working with our families to understand how we can serve their changing needs, as well as with our management team who recruit, match and train our role models who provide exceptional care and tutoring. I enjoy meeting new families through our partnerships, and I learn daily from our staff, nannies and tutors.


Alyssa T.

Role Model Manager

Alyssa is the Family Relations manager of College Nannies, Sitters & tutors of Edina, Wayzata and Excelsior. She was born and raised in Minnesota, and current resides in the Twin Cities. Alyssa has been working in in one capacity or another for the past 15 years. Working with children during high school prompted her to work towards her BAS of Early Childhood and Special Education which she received from University of Minnesota Duluth. She spent the summers working as a summer nanny for many families, which she is still connected with today! Upon graduating she moved into the retail space where she worked as a Manger for many years, honing her training, HR and management skills. After having a child of her own she moved into the Role Model Manager position with College Nannies, Sitters & Tutors, and was promoted to Family Relations Manager after a year and a half with the company. Alyssa brings her skills of Early Childhood development and education, combined with her ability to train and manage a large team to our office. When she is not connecting with families needing care, or checking in on our team of nannies and sitters, she enjoys reading, cooking and gardening (during those few shorts months of nice weather we have in MN!) On the weekends you can find her spending time with her husband and blended family of 2 boys, 2 dogs and 2 cats, outside working in the garden, or planning fun family game nights.


Cathy H.

Role Model Manager

Cathy has been Respite Role Model Manager at College Nannies, Sitters & Tutors of Del Mar since 2017. She has grown up in San Diego for much of her life and graduated locally from UCSD with a Bachelor's in Sociology. Prior to joining the company, Cathy has been a babysitter, nanny, youth development leader, and tutor in a variety of settings. Her most recent experience was working with children and adults with special needs in a one-on-one capacity. Her favorite part about her job is the ability to continue supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by placing them with caregivers who empower them to reach their full potential. When Cathy is not engaging with our team of respite sitters and families, she enjoys baking, running her monthly book club, and spending time at the beach.


Kaela K.

Role Model Manager

Kaela is the Hiring Manager for Jovie of San Diego Downtown + North County Coastal. Kaela grew up in Minnesota and recently graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Communication Studies and Adventure Tourism. She moved back to the Twin Cities after completing her degree. Kaela worked with children for her entire college career and wanted to help others do the same! She has 8+ years of customer service experience and appreciates building strong connections and relationships with others. Kaela enjoyed being involved in her sorority, which fostered her passion and experience for recruitment. She served 2 years on recruitment teams in her extracurricular commitments and is excited to continue meeting new people and building connections with families and nannies. She brings her enthusiastic, motivated, and friendly personality to her teams and interactions. In her free time, she likes to be outside, cook, see live music, and travel.


Katie B.

Recruiting Manager

Katie is the Senior Manager of Recruitment at College Nannies + Sitters. She works to manage full life-cycle recruiting processes for Nannies and Sitters in franchise locations within Minnesota, Washington, and California. She is also responsible for the oversight of the Hiring and Recruiting Managers within those locations. Originally from Wisconsin, Katie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Viterbo University (LaCrosse, WI). She has 9+ years of hiring/managing experience and originally started with CNST in 2018 as a Recruiter. She was promoted to the Senior Manager position in 2019. She brings her excitement, commitment, and team-building drive to a fast-paced, multi-state team. Katie is a connecter. She loves to find fun-filled positions for our Nannies and Sitters while ensuring our families that they are receiving top-quality care. Lizzie R.

General Manager

Lizzie is our Role Model Manager at College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors of Seattle, Redmond, and Bellevue where she manages and trains our exceptional team of caregivers. Caring, organized and results-driven, she ensures that all members of the nanny team are the perfect fit for the families they work with. Passionate about early childhood education, Lizzie has dedicated her professional life to working with children, ensuring they have a nurtured start to a life filled with opportunities. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Washington State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Human Development. She then moved on to obtain her Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University and prior to joining the CNST team, she spent three years as a fourth-grade teacher in the Highline School District. Born and raised in Spokane, WA Lizzie is now a Seattle resident and enjoys going for walks with her dog Rory, cooking, gardening, and spending time outdoors exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.


Meredith N.

Family Placement Manager

Meredith is the Senior Manager of Nanny and Sitter Services at Jovie. She supports CNS managers across California, Washington, and Minnesota as they recruit, hire, and train for their nanny and sitter teams. Meredith loves finding opportunities to connect families with amazing caregivers! Originally from Virginia, Meredith attended the University of South Carolina where she obtained a degree in Anthropology. After graduating, she spent a year doing service through AmeriCorps. Following that transformative year, she then spent 6 years in the non-profit sector, recruiting college students to mentor and tutor elementary school students in the lowest income parts of Washington DC. She moved to Los Angeles in 2013 and spent 6 years working in marketing and sales in the test prep industry with both Kaplan Test Prep and The Princeton Review. In 2017 she brought all of those experiences with her to CNS where she now helps families with their childcare needs. Meredith was promoted to the Senior Manager position in 2020. She spends her free time knitting, doing yoga, finding a great Netflix series, or enjoying quality family time at home.


Mikaela T.

Role Model Manager

Mikaela is the Role Model Manager of College Nannies + Sitters of Los Angeles, specializing in recruiting and hiring the nanny time she manages. She began her child care career as a Substitute teacher in California, while also working in a variety of different day cares as a child care provider. With a bachelors in Liberal studies from Cal State University-Hayward and an AA in Business administration, her education has been the perfect balance between managing the perfect child care sitter team, and ensuring the administrative background needs are taken care of. Mikaela started her career with College Nannies as the Family Placement Manager in Seattle, eventually adding the role of Learning Center Manager as well. When COVID hit and with so much unknown, she took the year off to spend time with her newborn son Elijah, while also making a bold move to Mesa, Arizona. With virtual employment on the rise, she came back to us as the Role Model Manager for the LA office and has been having a fabulous time getting to know all of the different sitters on her team. In her spare time she will hit the local hiking trails, compete on the Peloton and excessively craft with her Cricut machine.


Natalie S.

Learning Center Manager

Natalie is the Learning Center Manager for the tutor teams in Edina, Excelsior, Wayzata, and Mercer Island. Natalie grew up in Southwest Minneapolis, and moved to Beloit, WI to complete her B.S. in Public Health at Beloit College. She joined the College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors team after graduating in 2016 as a tutor and Learning Center Coordinator for the Excelsior tutor office. She brings two years of customer service, recruiting, and tutoring to her role.


Nicole B.

Office Support Coordinator

Nicki is our Operations Coordinator at College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors, providing support to our whole team. Growing up in Clearwater, Florida she has traveled and lived all around the country before settling down in Minneapolis, MN. Nicki comes with 8+ years of experience managing and organizing large projects and events, having previously worked as a manager in theater she brings a unique perspective and creative approach to each aspect of the business. Focusing on many child oriented performances and projects, Nicki has always had a passion for children and inspiring them to think creatively while building their imagination and independence. Nicki graduated from The University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Stage Management. When she's not working with our team to find our families excellent care, she enjoys hiking, riding her bike, growing her yoga practice, and nearly anything that can be done outside.
