Meet the Team
Stuart Dupuy is an entrepreneur, successfully founding multiple businesses including Mom’s Best Friend. Additionally, Stuart was a successful Dell executive where he had a 17 year career. Prior to joining Dell in 1997, Stuart was an attorney practicing commercial litigation with Fulbright & Jaworski. Stuart has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Texas School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Duke University, with a semester at the London School of Economics. Stuart is married and a father of four children ages 11 through 20, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends. Stuart is a competitive mountain biker and triathlete. Stuart and his family are active members of Life Austin Church in Austin.
Laura has been working with Mom's Best Friend and now Jovie Sitters for over 20 years! Prior to helping our families, she worked in advertising as a Media Planner at GSD&M. She enjoys leading this awesome team of rock stars who truly give their best day in and day out and the end results is happy families and children. We truly couldn't do what we do without our amazing dedicated staff and our awesome caregivers who truly go above and beyond. In her spare time, Laura enjoys going on walks around Town Lake, hot yoga class, volunteering at her church, dinners with friends and traveling to spend time with her family.
Brooke Bickham Underwood is the Sr. Family Manager for the Sitter Team, having joined the team in 2016. She considers Austin, TX, her hometown, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 with a Philosophy Degree and a double minor in Geology and English Studies. She is a self-proclaimed plant lady and has two sweet senior rescue kitties that mean the world to her. In her free time, she enjoys settling in with a good book and a cup of tea. Brooke's favorite part of her job is coming up with creative solutions for any family need and finding them a new favorite sitter. She takes pride in her ability to find the best solutions for any need and looks forward to helping your family soon.
Lindsey is the Church Placement Coordinator for Jovie Sitters and has been working with the company for eight years. She loves getting to establish relationships with many churches in the Austin and Houston area, learning about their childcare needs and how our sitters can best serve and care for the children in their ministry. Lindsey has been married to her wonderful husband for 10 years and they have a one year old daughter and two dogs. Since having their first child, she understands and realizes even more the importance of finding fantastic and trustworthy caregivers! In her free time, Lindsey loves to be outside, go swimming, try new restaurants or go thrift shopping!
Caroline is our Family Placement Coordinator. She has spent many years tutoring students of all levels, and her husband and mom are both teachers, so she's well-schooled in the educational environment. Caroline is very sensitive on the needs of each student, and has the skills and understanding to tailor study plans to maximize the benefit to the individual.
Severa is our Houston Recruiting Manager as well as Team Lead for our Special events staff. She began as an in-home sitter with the company in 2015. Her expertise and dedication has propelled her to her current role. She has a first hand perspective on what it takes to be an excellent caregiver, as well as what families look for in a great caregiver. This insight drives her success in hiring phenomenal caregivers. Severa is a Houston native--born and raised! She has 15+ yrs of childcare experience with all ages. The perspective, experience, and knowledge she has gathered, makes an immense difference when recruiting new caregivers. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and her two pugs, and participating in trivia! Severa would definitely consider herself a Disney Adult!
