Steve R.
Franchise Owner
Steve is Owner and General Manager of Jovie of North Texas. He has lived in Keller for nearly 20 years with his four children thriving in the local community. After serving as an aviator/officer in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, he earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Steve went on to practice corporate Finance and HR in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for 17 years. Now, as a Jovie owner, he has the opportunity to combine business with passion to Build Stronger Families in the surrounding communities. Building Stronger Families includes Jovie families, team members, role models and the communities in which Jovie serves. His business focus is to ensure Jovie provides talented and caring nannies, sitters and tutors to the residents of North Texas. When he is not working, you can find him running, biking and hiking or spending time with his kids.
Amy M.
Director of Talent Acquisition
Hi! My name is Amy Martin and I am the Director of Talent Acquisition for Jovie of North Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Business Administration Management degree. My professional background before Jovie was in general management, recruiting, and training. At Jovie, I am responsible for our overall recruitment process, onboarding and training procedures as well as oversee our marketing and B2B strategies.
Everyday I look forward to learning about different family's needs and ensuring they get the right nanny- down to allergies, personalities, location, etc. We have a very specific interview and onboarding process in place before we recommend a nanny to a family.
In my spare time, I am often with my family, exploring with our RV, baking, or volunteering within my community.

Director of Operations and Sales
Monica is the Director of Operations and Sales for Jovie of North Texas. She was previously a Family Placement Manager for 3 years. She began as a tutor family but soon became a part of the team as she learned more about their desire to assist young families by providing responsible and quality caregivers. She has enjoyed meeting families and finding solutions to their needs. The best reward is hearing from a family how much one of our Role Models has helped to strengthen their time together. Monica has a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology/Psychology from Houston Baptist University. Upon the arrival of her second son, she left the corporate world to remain home and raise her family. Soon two more boys were added to the bunch. When they grew to school age, she began to homeschool the boys for their education while also attending various programs around the community and Houston area. Two are now in college and the other two are close behind. Their home is in Kingwood, TX. She enjoys supporting her sons in their activities, playing in the garden, attempting DIY projects, and spending time with family and friends.

I am originally from Bolivia, but I relocated to DFW four years ago and I love living here! I enjoy painting, kayaking, deadlifting, and spending time with Combo, my hamster.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington and plan on receiving a master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Hello! My name is Samantha and I am the Operations Manager for Jovie of North Texas. I moved to North Texas a couple of years ago to be closer to my family, and have fallen in love with this area. In 2017 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard Payne University. While pursuing my degree, I worked as a traveling nanny on the weekends, providing childcare at military events across Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Upon graduation I worked for a residential treatment center for children where I gained valuable experience in both direct care and administration. I continued administrative work for the State of Texas at the Health and Human Services Commission before moving to the Denton area in 2022 and joining Jovie in 2023. In my free time I enjoy walking my dog, watching sporting events, dancing, painting, and spending time with my 11 nieces and nephews.
