Meet the Team
Brian and his wife, Sharon, are the franchise owners of Jovie of Portland Metro (formerly College Nannies, Sitters, + Tutors). Sharon and Brian live in Beaverton and have 3 young adult children. Brian has a BS from Penn State University in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Oregon. Brian worked in the technology sector for many years in sales, marketing, and general management roles.
Sharon and her husband, Brian, are the franchise owners of Jovie of Portland Metro (formerly College Nannies, Sitters, + Tutors). Sharon and Brian live in Beaverton and have 3 young adult children. Sharon has a BS from Penn State University and an MA from the University of Maryland in Geography. Sharon worked for several years in software development before becoming a full-time homemaker. Sharon was a school volunteer for many years and served as a high school band booster president. Sharon is pleased to continue work helping families with Jovie.
Keaton located to Portland in summer 2022 following a career of more than 10 years in education. Prior to joining Jovie, he primarily served as a teacher, having worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, including kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, and high school. A native of Florida, Keaton earned his Bachelor of Arts (2012) from Loyola University New Orleans and has lived and worked abroad in both Europe (Germany) and Asia (China). Now he is excited to join the team at Jovie of Portland Metro and grow his skills in customer service, digital marketing, and sales!
Before bringing her passion for helping her community to Jovie, Shay worked as a retail operations manager for nearly six years in Southern California. In February of 2021, she moved to Oregon and started her career with Jovie. Shay enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and volunteering in her free time. She is excited to continue to help build stronger families with Jovie!
Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Jules has always had an interest in their community. After being hired on as a caregiver for Jovie, they were given the opportunity to grow into the company more by becoming the team’s Recruiting Coordinator. The ability to help the team flourish has become an exciting chance for them to spread their creative wings, and they are excited to see what the future brings to Jovie and themself.
Sophia has been with Jovie for over two years. She loves this job because she gets to be a role model and friend to so many children and families throughout the Portland Metro area, and she also gets to help other caregivers succeed in their jobs as role models. As a child, she always admired her own caregivers for their energy and compassion, so she does her best to bring those components to her work daily. Her favorite part of this job is getting to create a relationship with families and other caregivers that can last years while being able to help children grow and learn in a safe and healthy environment.

If a new family whom you refer signs up for our services, then each of you will receive up to 3 complimentary On-Call Service hours during your next On-Call care session. To qualify, just ask them to mention your first and last name when they sign up. Offer valid for up to 30 days after new family signs up.
Every quarter, our local office invites our team of caregivers to participate in an in-person meet-up. This is a great opportunity for our caregivers to get to know one another and to exchange the latest tips and tricks for working with kids.
