Laura Horwitz is mom to 3 boys and owns the offices of Jovie in Glenview and Chicago. She and her husband grew up on the north shore. She has a MA in Mathematics Education and has been a teacher, tutor, and babysitter. Laura uses her knowledge and experience to match role models in the form of nannies and sitters with local families. Her Glenview office has been open since 2007 and has achieved Rockstar status multiple years in a row for building stronger families. She can find long term PT or FT nannies for families or short term back up sitters for the occasional need. She has also helped roll out a brand new app that allows families to reserve a sitter on their phone in minutes. This mighty mom also is an avid volunteer and has helped with the PTA, GMPS Parent Board, Local School Council, and GBS Parent Association Executive Council, as well as participates in the local chamber of commerce and other local organizations.

Jackie S.

Sr. Family Services Manager

Jackie is the Sr. Family Services Manager, and a mom to one son. Prior to working with Jovie, she was a private nanny for many years. She uses her knowledge and experience as both a nanny and a parent to help families find great role models for their own families, and help nannies find wonderful families. Jackie has a BA in Marketing Communications and is an avid sports fan.

Role Model and Office Manager

Molly has been with Jovie for a little over three years, starting as our Role Model Coordinator and working her way to her current title, of Role Model and Office Manager. She helps to train and orientate all of the sitters on our team, as well as ensuring that throughout their time here they are not only supported, but properly equipped to provide excellent care to all of our families. Prior to working at Jovie, She obtained her bachelors degree in Psychology from Ripon College. This background in human sciences influences the way that she approaches supporting our caregivers, making sure to bring empathy and respect into every conversation. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, and exploring as much of Chicago as she can! She loves being a part of the Jovie team located in the best city in the world, and she is grateful for the opportunity to hire and support our outstanding caregivers.

Administrative Coordinator

Mica joined the Austin, Texas Jovie office in 2023, and then transferred to the Chicago location in 2024. She discovered her love of working with children as a teen, which encouraged her to earn a degree and pursue a career in Dance Education. Now on the Jovie team, she focuses her energy on community outreach and sitter recruitment. In her free time, she loves making art, taking walks by the lake, teaching a few classes on the side, and playing with her cat, Ruby. Her favorite part of the job is meeting new people and helping them reach their goals!

Role Model Coordinator

Isaac is the Role Model Coordinator and Hospitality Liaison for Jovie Childcare. He is happy to be celebrating 3 years with Jovie Childcare. Isaac enjoys working closely with the sitters to ensure they have a wonderful experience working with us here at Jovie, being a former sitter himself he knows all of the in's and out's of working in the Childcare field. He helps to bring in new hotels for our in room childcare services as well as fostering a good working relationship with our already established Hotels. He is a fan of comic books, anime, and theatre. In his spare time he enjoys acting for the stage and film and spending time with his family, friends and his dog.

Sr. Recruiting Coordinator

London is the Senior Recruiting Coordinator at Jovie, where she connects potential families and sitters with our services. She also takes the lead in organizing and overseeing events, and she loves being on location, engaging with our sitters and the children we care for. Having worked as a sitter and nanny through Jovie myself, she gained valuable experience that has helped her grow in her administrative role. Originally from Minnesota, she now embraces all things Chicago—especially the food! She is also a pug enthusiast and an avid traveler. She looks forward to growing our amazing Jovie team!
