Franchise Owner
Matt left Corporate America in 2009 and went out on a limb to start something new and different. He purchased his first franchise location in Kansas City and later expanded into Edmond, Oklahoma, Las Vegas, Nevada and Des Moines, IA. He's extremely passionate about this business and loves to engage with our employees, families and businesses.
Katie F
Owner- Director of Operations
Katie is the Co-Owner and Director for Jovie of Des Moines, Greater Kansas City, Edmond OK, Las Vegas NV and Des Moines, IA. She started on Matt's team in 2014 as the Nanny Placement Manager and became Co-Owner in 2019. Growing up on the West Coast in Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles, California, she moved to Kansas City to raise her family in 2009. She loves the outdoors, cultural arts and music. She is passionate about healthy living and happy families.

Tori was born and raised in Las Vegas. She's had numerous different roles with our Franchise system which really helps her to connect with the various applicants she meets on a weekly basis. She knows what they will go through in their position as a Nanny or a Sitter and understands what it takes to be a model employee in our company. Operations Manager
Kenzi started her journey with Jovie as a caregiver, where she cared for families in her own long-term placement. Her love for supporting both families and caregivers led her into an administrative role, where she assisted operations managers across our Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Oklahoma markets before launching and leading the Iowa team.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Kenzi has been around childcare her entire life — helping her mom run a daycare and caring for her many nieces and nephews. She’s also an animal lover with three cats and a dog, and in her free time she enjoys reading, creating stained glass art, and finding new ways to be creative.

Holliday Hullabaloo
The Holiday Hullabaloo is an immersive, indoor experience that brings a huge variety of activities under one roof, making it ideal for toddlers and young children due to the sheer diversity of things to see and do.
What to Expect: This event features multiple themed areas, including a Toddler Reindeer Corral, Santas Workshop for crafts and wood toys, a Snowball Fight Arena, and the chance to meet Santa and other holiday characters like the Grinch and the Sugar Plum Fairy. They often feature a sock ice skating rink and cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus.
The Science Center of Iowa
The Science Center of Iowa is a cornerstone of family entertainment in Des Moines, offering interactive exhibits that encourage hands-on learning for even the youngest visitors.
Why It's Great for Families: This is a fantastic place to burn energy indoors on a cold or rainy day. There are dedicated spaces designed for preschoolers and toddlers to safely explore, including water play areas (bring extra clothes!), building blocks, and sensory exhibits.
