Meet the Team
I have been a part of the Jovie Family since my first territory opened in October of 2016. Prior to Jovie, I was in the corporate world for over 20 years and understand the challenges families go through balancing work and life. Making that balance a little easier through the wonderful care by nannies and sitters is very important to me. Whether it is through nanny care, sitter care or our special event care, I want your experience to be a positive one and create wonderful memories for you and your children. I am committed to building stronger families.
Brittni started working with Jovie in October 2016. She graduated from St Petersburg College with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies of Education. Prior to working with Jovie, Brittni had worked within multiple different companies ranging from logistics and produce to IT staffing, but her passion for helping children and families brought her to work with Jovie. She was able to utilize her own personal experiences as a nanny to help families find their match and help recruit the ideal candidates to bring on our team. In her free time, Brittni loves hanging out with her two dogs and laying in the Florida sun.
Raquel attended the University of Louisville and studied Communications. Prior to joining Jovie, she worked in the hotel industry as Director of Sales and later Director of Operations. Her passion is in sales, and working directly with clients in understanding their needs and determining the right fit for their situations. Recently married in November 2021, Raquel lives in Louisville with her husband and their puppy, Sansa. For fun, Raquel enjoys being outdoors, hiking, swimming, and kayaking.
Melissa is our Family Relationship Manager and joined our team in March of 2022. Her role is crucial in bridging the gap between families and caregivers, as well as promoting healthy communication. She has extensive background in Customer Relations and Account Management. She is excited about making an impact and cultivating relationships with families and caregivers. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys all things "sun," which includes going to the beach and hanging out poolside with her family and friends.
Brenna completed her internship with Jovie in 2022 and made the decision to continue her career with us as our Recruitment and Coordination Manager. She works extensively in overseeing our recruitment efforts of caregivers along with ensuring schedules are updated and aligned to our family’s needs. When she isn't working, you can find Brenna traveling, snowboarding, baking, or just relaxing!
Shonnah works alongside our Family Relationship Manager, Melissa. She was previously a caregiver for Jovie and joined the management team in August 2022. Through her experience as a nanny, Shonnah brings helpful insight to our nannies to ensure we provide a high level of care to all our families. In her free time, Shonnah enjoys reading, being outside, and spending time with her family.

Since 2001, we have built local professional teams across the country who have provided turn-key solutions for corporate centers, hotels, and school care centers to meet the dynamic needs of their programs. Ensure everyone from your organization can attend and focus on your event by providing reliable and safe childcare! We even provide care for the children of professional sports teams from the MLB and NFL during their games. We’ll coordinate with you to match our fun and vetted babysitters with your organization’s needs.
We are a local service that specializes in keeping the little ones engaged, so it's one less thing on your mind during your event. Jovie can take care of the children in a home, hotel, or at the event venue, whatever works best for your event and guests. Whether it’s for a wedding, reunion, or another type of social gathering, we can handle the childcare while adults participate and enjoy time together.
