Lizzie Rushin is the Managing Director for Jovie offices in Washington, California, and Minnesota. She leads our team of directors and managers across all three states, ensuring that every family is matched with a trusted, reliable caregiver and that every nanny feels supported and set up for success.

Caring, organized, and results-driven, Lizzie brings a deep passion for early childhood development and a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality care solutions.

Lizzie has dedicated her professional life to working with children. She earned a BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Human Development from Washington State University and a Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University. A former nanny and 2nd and 4th grade teacher, she brings firsthand experience and insight into her daily work with families and caregivers.

At home, Lizzie and her husband are proud parents to two young children, who inspire her every day and deepen her commitment to helping families navigate their own care journeys.

Meredith is the Senior Director of Childcare Services. She supports Jovie managers across all our locations as they hire and train for their nanny and sitter teams. Meredith loves finding opportunities to connect families with exceptional caregivers! Originally from Virginia, Meredith attended the University of South Carolina, where she obtained a degree in Anthropology. After graduating, she spent a year doing service through AmeriCorps. Following that transformative year, she spent six years in the non-profit sector, recruiting college students to mentor and tutor elementary school students in the lowest-income parts of Washington, DC. She moved to Los Angeles in 2013 and spent six years in marketing and sales in the test prep industry with both Kaplan Test Prep and The Princeton Review. In 2017, she brought all those experiences to Jovie, where she now helps families with their childcare needs. She spends her free time knitting, doing yoga, or exploring the outdoors with her son.

As the Manager of Nanny and Sitter Services for Jovie of Seattle, Redmond, and Bellevue, Tamara spends her days training, managing, and supporting our exceptional group of nannies and sitters. Her role is marked by the joy of building strong relationships with her team and finding creative ways to encourage and celebrate their successes. With a background as the oldest of six siblings, Tamara naturally assumed a "second mom" role from an early age. Beyond her family, she gained valuable experience as a nanny and continued to babysit for various families. Tamara pursued higher education at Central Washington University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a specialization in broadcast, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. In her spare time, Tamara enjoys attending sporting events, hosting game nights, and cherishing moments with her adorable puppy, Theo!

Alicia strives to ensure every candidate has a supportive experience from start to finish. She leads with empathy and believes deeply in the power of connection—her motto is “it’s all about relationships.” Cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with candidates and colleagues is at the heart of her work.
Prior to Jovie, Alicia spent eight years with the Issaquah School District, where she coordinated the District’s Before and After School Care program. A proud graduate of Bellevue College, she was born and raised on the Eastside and now lives in Newcastle. From first contact to onboarding, Lisa enjoys learning more about the people who apply and feels joy when they find the right role! She also identifies new recruiting opportunities with local colleges and builds ongoing partnerships with them. Lisa has an amazing 25 years’ experience in the Early Childhood Education field, as an infant teacher, program manager and recruiter. Lisa received her BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz in American Studies, and her MA from California Lutheran University in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Lisa and family moved to Woodinville, WA in 2007 and love everything about the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 2 dogs, relaxing at home watching movies, and going to see live concerts.

She is passionate about childcare and teaching, and she particularly enjoys interacting with candidates who share the same passion. Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Illinois State University. Before joining Jovie, she taught life skills to 1st and 2nd grade special education students. Lauren moved to Seattle’s Eastside from Chicago in 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs, Hudson and Beau.

Soleil leads Jovie’s Back-Up Care and Staffing Operations as the Senior Manager, bringing a strong foundation in communication, team leadership, and operational excellence. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication from Arizona State University and oversees all facets of staffing logistics to ensure consistent, high-quality support for the care team.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Soleil is fluent in the language of people, process, and purpose. When she's not optimizing staffing strategies or uplifting her team, she enjoys reading, planning her next travel adventure, and spending time with her partner and their beloved fur babies.
