- Looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? Join our team as a dedicated and engaging after-school nanny for a family in Arlington, VA. You’ll care for a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son, assisting with homework, facilitating after-school activities like soccer, volleyball, and drum lessons, and ensuring they follow their evening routines. The daughter, who rides her bike home from school at 2:40 pm, may need some encouragement with her homework and navigating her pre-teen years. The son, who walks home at 3:40 pm, is very active and enjoys sports. Your responsibilities will also include letting the family dog out and back in. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:45 pm - 6:45 pm, starting at the end of August. As a Team Member you will:- Help maintain a daily after school routine
- Focus on child development daily, including educational activities
- Focus on child-centric fun, including practicing the sport of the season and transportation to practices
- Homework help and encouragement
- Let the dog in and out of the house as needed
