Job Description:

About the Role
This role will focus primarily on infant care, with additional support for our 2-year-old toddler during mornings and on days when she is home from daycare.
Key Responsibilities
Infant Care (Primary Focus)
• Feeding (bottles initially; later helping introduce solids)
• Diaper changes, hygiene, swaddling, soothing, and nap support
• Age-appropriate developmental activities:
o Tummy time, reading, singing, talking, tracking, sensory play
o Stroller walks and outdoor play (weather permitting)
• Maintaining baby schedule:
o Feeding/playtime/naptime structure
o Monitoring and logging naps, bottles, diapers, milestones
o Providing a brief daily summary
Toddler Support
• Morning daycare prep:
o Helping with breakfast
o Getting her dressed, brushed, ready for drop-off
o Light tidy-up of kitchen/play areas from the morning routine
• Care on days off from daycare or when home sick:
o Fun, safe, engaging toddler activities
o Indoor/outdoor play, reading, art, simple educational play
o Supporting nap schedule
o Preparing simple toddler meals/snacks
Household-Related Tasks
• Washing/sterilizing bottles and pump parts
• Baby + toddler laundry (as needed)
• Keeping nursery, changing areas, and play spaces clean and organized
• Keeping common areas tidy after use
• Light dinner prep for the children (and family if discussed)
Pet Care
• Feeding and letting out our 5-year-old doodle

Requirements
• Strong newborn and toddler experience with excellent references and background check
• Infant/child CPR & First Aid certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, safe transportation
• Fluent in English
• Up-to-date on standard vaccinations (Tdap required)
• Non-smoker
• Comfortable with a friendly, low-shedding dog

• Communicates well and partners with us on routines, development, and milestones
• Is proactive about keeping the household running smoothly - Shift: M-F 7:30AM-4:30PM
