Part Time Nanny

Job Description:

• Jovie of Edmond | Nanny Position
  
  Jovie of Edmond is seeking a nanny to provide care for a family with one child who is 20 months. The ideal candidate will be energetic, engaging, and able to create a fun and safe environment.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  
  • Provide attentive and engaging care, including outdoor activities, playtime, and age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Engage the child with activities he enjoys, such as playing with things with wheels and balls.
  • Maintain the child's daily schedule, including naps and meals.
  • Prepare and serve pre-prepared whole foods (no added sugars, no processed foods).
  • Ensure the child's safety at all times, including during walks and playtime.
  • Be willing to walk 1-2 miles, with a 3-mile loop to Starbucks as an option.
  • Work M/W or T/Th from 10-4pm
  
  
  Child Information:
  
  20 months old: Very active and happy. Loves being outside, running, and jumping. Enjoys anything with wheels and balls. Very energetic. Loving to explore and requires the ability to do so. Wakes up at 6:30 AM, goes to bed around 7:30 PM. Naps at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Eats immediately upon waking up and is a hungry eater. He is in a pull-up version of a traditional diaper.
  
  
  Ideal Nanny:
  
  Must be active and able to go on long walks (1-2 miles, with a 3-mile loop to Starbucks as an option).
  
  Likes to do things and engage with the child.
  
  Comfortable with a high-energy child.
  
  Willing to maintain the child's schedule.
  
  Comfortable with preparing and serving pre-prepared whole foods (no added sugars, no processed foods).
  
  Gentle and age-appropriate discipline techniques.
  
  Engaging, creative, and can plan activities like crafts or treasure hunts.
  
  
  Talkative and naturally tidy. 
  
  Jovie of Edmond Minimum Requirements:
  
  

  • At least two years of professional childcare experience.
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Three to five childcare references.
  • Up-to-date CPR and First Aid training.
