The Opportunity:
This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on variety and flexibility. As an On-Call Sitter, you will primarily cover weekend shifts and provide essential childcare for events, including church services, in and around the Edmond area. You'll gain valuable experience working with diverse families and age groups, enjoying a schedule that adapts to your availability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing engaging, attentive, and safe supervision for children of various ages (infants to school-aged).
Planning and participating in age-appropriate activities, games, and creative play.
Assisting with meal and snack times, as well as light cleanup related to childcare activities.
Following established family routines and instructions.
Communicating effectively and professionally with parents/guardians.Schedule:
This is an on-call, part-time position with flexible hours.
Primary need for weekend availability.
Opportunities for church care and other special events.

Who We're Looking For:
A calm, patient, and highly reliable individual with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
Someone with excellent communication skills and a warm, engaging personality.

Comfortable adapting to different family dynamics and home environments.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of verifiable childcare experience (professional setting preferred, but strong informal experience will be considered).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current car insurance for safe transportation.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire).
