Schedule: 2-3 Full Days/Week (Approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
2 days: Wed/Thurs
3 days: Tues/Wed/Thurs
Location: North Edmond, OK (Near neighborhood parks and walking trails)
Position Overview
A professional, organized, and loving family in North Edmond is seeking a dedicated nanny to care for their 7-month-old twin boys. As both parents work from home in leadership roles, they are looking for a "teammate" who can take initiative, maintain a calm environment, and provide attentive care while they manage their professional responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of infant development, specifically with multiples, and thrives in a household that values a blend of structured routine and baby-led flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Infant Care: Manage feedings (mix of breast milk/formula), diapering, and nap schedules for two active infants.
Developmental Support: Engage the boys in age-appropriate play, tummy time, and sensory activities to support rolling and upcoming milestones like starting solids.
Household Support: Maintain the "baby ecosystem"—washing and prepping bottles, managing baby laundry, and tidying play areas.
Safety & Routine: Follow specific care instructions regarding reflux management (upright positioning post-feed) and teething support.
Daily Adventures: Enjoy outdoor time with neighborhood walks (weather permitting).
The Ideal Candidate
Multiple Experience: Previous experience caring for twins or infants of similar ages is highly preferred.
Philosophy: You believe in responsive caregiving. The family values self-soothing techniques but does not practice "cry-it-out" methods.
Demeanor: Calm, patient, and proactive. You can spot a need before being asked and can navigate the "double duty" of twins with grace.
Pet-Friendly: Comfortable with a gentle Golden Retriever in the home.
Professionalism: Values punctuality, clear communication, and a health-conscious lifestyle.
Jovie Minimum Hiring Requirements
To be considered for this or any position with Jovie, candidates must meet the following:
Experience: At least 2 years of verifiable childcare experience (professional or high-level sitting).
Legal Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (Criminal, MVR, etc.).
Reliability: Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
References: Minimum of 3 professional references.
Commitment: Ability to commit to the family for at least 6-12 months.
Health: Must be a non-smoker (includes vaping).
Testing: Willingness to undergo drug testing as requested by the family.
