The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy nanny for a short-term, full-time placement in Edmond. This role is perfect for a caregiver who thrives in a "professional-home" environment and enjoys being a crucial part of a baby’s first milestones.
Projected Start: Late February
Duration: Approximately 1–2 months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 24-hour weekly minimum (40 hours typical)
The Role: Beyond Basic Care
As a Jovie Nanny, you are more than a caregiver; you are a developmental partner. You will focus on:
Milestone Support: Leading intentional play, including tummy time, sensory engagement, and motor skill development.
Routine Management: Maintaining a consistent, healthy schedule for feeding and sleep, utilizing specialized techniques like paced bottle feeding.
Proactive Household Help: Taking initiative on nursery organization, infant laundry, and bottle sanitization to ensure a smooth-running home.
Pet Integration: Maintaining a calm and friendly environment in a home with a large, well-behaved dog.
Jovie Minimum Requirements
To maintain our standard of excellence, all applicants must meet the following:- Verifiable Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience specifically with infants.
- The "Can-Do" Spirit: A proactive mindset—you look for ways to help before being asked.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and professional communication.
- Transportation: Possession of a valid driver’s license and a safe, reliable vehicle for commuting to the job site.
- Safety First: Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and a commitment to strict hygiene/health standards.
- Clear Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening process.
