Job Description:
- Jovie of Edmond is seeking an energetic, caring, and experienced nanny to join our team and provide exceptional care for a fun-loving toddler in the Edmond area. The ideal candidate will be interactive and able to keep up with an active child. This is a short-term, part-time position with guaranteed hours.
About the Family
This is a family of three (two parents and a toddler) who are very bubbly and social extroverts. They love spending time with family and being active. They have no pets and a large, fenced-in yard for outdoor play.
About the Child
This curious toddler is very active and loves to play. She is musically inclined, enjoying dancing and playing with toy instruments. She also loves to be outside, whether it's riding a bike, drawing with chalk, or splashing in a bucket of water. She is a picky eater, but the family is proactive in encouraging her to try new foods. While she may be a little shy at first, she warms up to people quickly.
Daily Nanny Responsibilities- Working schedule Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:30-5:30pm.
- Engage in creative and active play, both indoors and outdoors.
- Encourage the child's musical interests through singing, dancing, and play.
- Assist with meals and snacks as needed, helping with cleanup.
- Manage transitions, particularly during parent departure, by distracting the child.
- Help with potty-training efforts and diaper changes.
Ideal Candidate Qualities & Jovie Hiring Requirements- A minimum of two years of childcare experience.
- Must be CPR certified.
- 3-5 Childcare references
- Highly interactive and energetic, with a passion for creative and active play.
- A reliable vehicle, valid DL and clean record
- A "can-do" attitude and a willingness to get messy while playing.
- Bubbly and outgoing personality who will fit in with the family's dynamic.
