At Jovie, we’re committed to helping caregivers grow in their careers while making a meaningful impact in early childhood settings. As a Floater, you’ll have opportunities to work in a variety of partner daycares while creating nurturing, developmentally rich experiences for young learners.
What You’ll Do
Support classroom learning by implementing curriculum that meets each child’s individual needs
Foster a warm, secure, and engaging environment where children can explore and thrive
Build strong connections with families through open communication and shared goals for each child
Collaborate with center leadership and teaching teams to help meet enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
Maintain positive relationships with families, educators, licensing agencies, and community partners
Required Skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational abilities and comfort managing multiple tasks
Ability to meet or obtain state-specific qualifications
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., supervise indoor/outdoor play, and interact with children at their level
Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and families

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
Caring for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, based on your experience
Assisting lead teachers with classroom management and learning activities
Creating a safe, attentive environment and responding quickly to children’s needs
Working full-time or part-time depending on your availability
