Seeking an Experienced, Proactive Full-Time Infant Nanny in the Las Vegas Area

Position Type: Full Time

Position Location: Las Vegas, NV

Office: Jovie of Las Vegas

Job Description:

  • Jovie of Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated, highly professional, and experienced Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care for a 6-month-old infant. This position is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about infant development, comfortable working within a structured routine, and wants to act as a true partner to the parents.

    About the Family & Role:

This family is seeking a nanny to care for their sweet 6-month-old infant in their home, located in a gated, walkable neighborhood. The infant is currently transitioning from a four-nap to a three-nap schedule and requires meticulous attention to a detailed eat, sleep, and play routine. One parent works from a dedicated upstairs home office and requires undisturbed work time. The family prioritizes consistency, communication, and professionalism.

    Schedule:

Full-Time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 Guaranteed Hours per week).

Commitment: One-year commitment is highly preferred.

Start Date: Early November start is ideal, with preference for shared transition time beforehand.

    Key Responsibilities & Routine Adherence

The primary focus is the infant's development, health, and routine.

Developmental Care: Provide engaging, age-appropriate play and support the family's active efforts in sleep training (teaching the infant to self-soothe).

Feeding & Bottle Management: Prepare bottles with meticulous care. Responsible for using the family's specialized Baby Brezza dishwasher for washing, sterilizing, and drying all bottles and parts. Must ensure the infant is held upright for 15 minutes after each feeding.

Hygiene & Health: Perform consistent diaper changes using diaper cream every time, wipe the infant clean, and file nails as needed.

Child-Related Housekeeping: Responsible for all laundry, dishwashing, and tidying related only to the infant's activities and supplies.

Safety & Monitoring: Conduct a daily hazard check of all play areas. Follow strict protocol in case of illness (e.g., must immediately notify the WFH parent if the infant spikes a fever).

Outings: Encourage daily walks in the neighborhood (no driving required).

    The Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Approach: Minimum of two years of verifiable experience specifically with infants (0-12 months). Must be proactive, positive, and engaged—a professional who can offer informed suggestions and act as a partner in the infant’s development.

Professional Conduct: Must be well-groomed, wear clean clothing, and adhere to a strict no smoking/vaping policy.

Logistical: Must be comfortable working in a home with a cat and strictly adhere to the family’s no outdoor shoes inside policy.

Reliability: Able to provide no less than five hours' notice when sick (ideally the night before). Must provide a minimum of two weeks' notice for all requested time off.
