  Jovie of Las Vegas is looking for a dynamic, physically active, and emotionally engaged caregiver to join a wonderful family in the North Las Vegas area. This is a unique opportunity to grow with a family as they navigate life with a vibrant 3-year-old and a sweet newborn.
  
  
  Schedule: Part-Time | Mon, Wed, Fri | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  
  
  The Role:
  
  This family isn’t looking for a "bystander"—they want a playmate! You will be caring for an incredibly active and strong 3-year-old girl who loves to jump on her trampoline, show off her "funky" dance moves, and explore the world. You will also provide gentle, attentive care for a 1-month-old infant (feeding, changing, and soothing).
  
  During nap times? The family wants you to recharge! Beyond a quick tidy-up of toys or clearing the lunch counter, your primary job is to be present and energized for the kids when they are awake.
  
  What We’re Looking For:
  
  High Energy: You’ll need to keep up with a "Wreck-it Ralph" style toddler who loves big hugs and active play. Physical stamina is a must!
  
  Engagement: Someone who can "get on her level," participate in pretend play, and appreciate a child’s unique quirks.
  
  Professionalism: A caregiver who respects household boundaries, follows safety protocols (including a high-tech security environment), and maintains a smoke-free/substance-free lifestyle.
  
  Safety First: Comfortable with a home that has high-standard safety measures and a small, friendly indoor dog.
  
  Jovie Minimum Hiring Requirements:
  
  

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the US.
  • At least 2 years of professional childcare experience (with references).
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Reliable vehicle, car insurance and a clean driving record
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain it immediately).

  
  
  Family Preferences:
  
  

  • Experience with both toddlers and newborns simultaneously.
  • A "shoes-off" household (slippers provided!).
  • A candidate who values diverse cultures and inclusive environments.
  • A long-term mindset—the family hopes for someone who can eventually transition to more hours as their needs grow.
