Energetic & Engaged Bilingual Nanny

Job Description:

• Jovie Nannies of Las Vegas is seeking a qualified and passionate nanny to join a loving family in Las Vegas! This family is looking for a caring, responsible, and engaging nanny for their two-and-a-half-year-old child. The child is a great eater, enjoys a variety of foods, and loves going to the park and playing outdoors. They are looking for someone who is bilingual in Spanish and English, proactive, and attentive to their child's needs. This is a long-term role.
  
  Schedule: 
  Wednesday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM + occasional date nights 
  
  

  Responsibilities:
  
  

  • Provide attentive and engaging care for a two-and-a-half-year-old child.
  • Follow the child's daily routine, including meal times, nap times (which are based on the child's cues, generally between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM), and playtime.
  • Prepare healthy and simple meals for the child, adhering to dietary guidelines (minimal use of oils and salts).
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the child, including the child's laundry, tidying the child's room, and maintaining the child's diaper changing stations.
  • Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities, including park trips, outdoor play, and indoor playtime.
  • Ensure the child's safety at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the child's day, needs, and any concerns.
  • Be mindful of the child's sensitive skin and take care when changing diapers.

  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Previous experience caring for toddlers.
  • Comfortable working with a flexible schedule.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
  • Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals for a toddler.
  • Must be comfortable with a dog in the home.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must be vigilant about the child's safety.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle.
  • Must have a clear record.
