Job Description:
- A welcoming family in North Asheville is seeking a nurturing, dependable nanny to care for their sweet 2-year-old during morning hours three days a week.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule Duration: This consistent schedule will run through the end of June.
After June, the family may no longer need this regular weekly schedule, but there are opportunities to continue working with our team for additional babysitting or flexible childcare shifts if desired.
About the Role:
This curious toddler enjoys playtime, books, and exploring. The family is looking for someone who enjoys engaging with young children and creating a safe, fun, and positive environment.
Responsibilities:
Engaging the child in age-appropriate play and activities
Preparing simple snacks or meals for the child
Diapering/toileting assistance as needed
Light tidying related to the child (toys, dishes used during care)
Outdoor play or walks when weather allows
The Ideal Candidate:
Has experience caring for toddlers
Is reliable, patient, and attentive
Enjoys interactive play and supporting early childhood development
Has reliable transportation
CPR/First Aid Certified
This role is perfect for someone looking for consistent morning hours through early summer, with the potential to pick up additional flexible opportunities during and afterward if interested.
