Job Description:

• Jovie of Greater Kansas City is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Nanny to care for a wonderful family's baby boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive caregiver who loves infant care and is looking to make a long-term commitment.
  
  The family is a caring, two-parent household who both work from home, so you'll need to be comfortable with a parent being in the residence. They are looking for a nanny who can provide consistent, loving care and who understands the importance of communication and developmental play. The ideal candidate will be a partner in nurturing their baby's growth and well-being.
  
  About the Role & Your Day-to-Day:
  
  Your primary focus will be providing attentive care for a delightful 4-month-old infant. This includes:
  
  
  • Following the baby's established feeding, play, and sleep routines.
  • Assisting with the transition to crib naps.
  • Engaging the infant in age-appropriate play, singing, and reading.
  • Taking the baby on outings and for outdoor exploration as the weather gets cooler.
  • Handling bottle preparation and, in the future, assisting with baby-led weaning.
  • Completing light child-related tidying (e.g., tidying the nursery, washing bottles).
  
  
  What We're Looking For:
  
  
  • A minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional infant care experience.
  • A long-term commitment of at least 6 months.
  • 3-5 solid childcare references
  • A calm, communicative, and compassionate personality.
  • Clean record, including DMV
  • Good physical ability to safely manage stairs and get down on the floor for playtime.
  • Someone who likes the outdoors 
  • Must be up-to-date on all standard childhood vaccinations.
