Job Description:

  Jovie of Greater Kansas City is looking for a dependable and experienced part-time nanny to provide exceptional care for an infant in a supportive and nurturing environment. 
  
  About the Family
  
  The family consists of a baby and her older brother. The parents are creative, active, and social. They appreciate the arts and enjoy being outdoors. 
  
  About the Baby
  
  The nanny's sole focus will be a charming infant who is currently 3.5 months old. This baby is very interactive and loves to be upright, a skill she is ahead of the curve on. She is bottle-fed and on a regular vaccination schedule. Her parents are working on transitioning her to sleeping in her crib. The nanny's main responsibility will be engaging her during her waking hours with stimulating activities like tummy time, reading, and singing.
  
  Nanny Responsibilities
  
  Provide attentive and loving care for the infant during scheduled hours.
  
  Engage in stimulating activities, including tummy time, reading, and singing.
  
  Manage and prepare bottles and keep them clean and sterilized.
  
  Perform light household duties related to the infant, such as folding laundry.
  
  Be a strong and positive presence in the home.
  
  Ideal Candidate & Jovie Hiring Requirements
  
  
  • Schedule: Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Commitment: A minimum commitment of six months is required.
  • Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be legally employed, and fully screened by Jovie of Greater Kansas City. You must also have a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of infant care experience with verifiable references is required.
  • Qualities: An energetic and interactive individual who enjoys engaging with children. Experience with infants is a must. The family is also open to a bilingual candidate.
  • Logistics: Access to a vehicle is required. A guest parking pass will be provided for the apartment complex.
