• Are you a high-energy "pro-play" caregiver who loves being part of a vibrant, multi-generational household? Jovie of Greater Kansas City is looking for a standout Nanny to join a wonderful family in Overland Park.
  
  This isn't just a sitting job—it’s a chance to join a home where sports, health, and family connection are at the heart of everything.
  
  The Family & Environment
  
  You’ll be working in a dynamic home filled with "big-hearted" people. The parents are professionals in the sports and healthcare industries, and the home includes self-sufficient grandparents and a 16-year-old athlete.
  
  Your Primary Pal: A bubbly, outgoing 2.5-year-old who loves singing, dancing, painting, and playing outside. She responds best to caregivers with a "fun vibe" and positive energy.
  
  Growing Family: A new baby brother is joining the crew in June! We need someone who is just as comfortable with toddler antics as they are with infant care.
  
  The Workspace: You’ll have a fantastic "condo-style" home base in the walk-out basement (complete with a playroom and kitchenette), plus an acre of outdoor space to explore.
  
  The Schedule
  
  Phase 1 (April – June): Wed/Thu/Fri | 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
  
  Phase 2 (Starting September): Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri | 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
  
  Seeking a 1–3 year commitment to grow with this family!
  
  What You’ll Do
  
  Engage & Play: Get on the floor! Whether it’s reading books, coloring, or playing at the outdoor water table, you are there to be an active participant in the child's day.
  
  Light Support: Keep the "out of sight, out of mind" tablet rule, manage healthy snacks, and occasionally prep a favorite toddler meal (like Goodles!).
  
  Pet Liaison: Help out the family’s two dogs—a docile Chocolate Lab and a small Bichon who needs a little help with his outdoor routine.
  
  Safety First: Maintain active supervision, especially near the backyard creek, and follow the family’s health-conscious protocols.
  
  Requirements (The Jovie Standard)
  
  To be considered, you MUST meet the following:
  
  Experience: At least 2 years of professional childcare experience (outside of family). Direct experience with both infants and toddlers/preschoolers is required.
  
  Reliability: You are a "on-time every time" professional with your own reliable vehicle, valid license, and clean driving record.
  
  Safety: Must be CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified immediately).
  
  Vibe: A genuine enthusiasm for children, a healthy lifestyle, and a "role model" attitude.
  
  Health: Vaccinations (including COVID/Flu) are strongly preferred to align with the family’s healthcare background.
  
  Integrity: No smoking/vaping. Must pass a comprehensive background and DMV screen.
