Job Description:
- A busy and loving family in Winchester is seeking a school savvy, proactive and engaging nanny/tutor to care for their 7 and 10 year old boys. Both parents look forward to welcoming a nanny to help support their children’s activities and to engage them in creative fun. Their 10 year old loves soccer, tennis, skiing, playing Xbox, sketching, and hanging out with friends. Their 7 year old loves soccer and golf, sewing and embroidering, coloring, and animals such as birds & dinosaurs.
The parents look forward to finding a caring and engaging nanny, who can be a gentle motivator, supportive overseer of schoolwork, and who successfully gets the kids outdoors whenever possible – an all-around fun-loving and enriching role model. This position is ideal for a candidate who is organized, motivated, enjoys being active, and part of a collaborative environment but also someone who can engage in down-time.Responsibilities include:
• School pick-up in North Cambridge and transportation to after-school activities in Winchester. A reliable car is required.
• Overseeing homework and providing academic support.
• Planning and leading engaging activities both indoors and outdoors.
• Children’s laundry, meal preparation, and local errands when children are in afterschool activities.
This is a 16- week, part-time position, Monday to Friday, from 3 to 7:15 pm (or 8:15 pm if preferred) , starting ASAP but ideally September 4th.
