After School Nanny in Glen Ellyn

Job Description:

• Looking for a part time job with flexibility to pick up more hours or keep time to yourself for studying? A family in Glen Ellyn is seeking a nanny for three afternoons a week who can help to keep their kids on track, assist with afternoon activities, and maintain routine in their home. Prior to picking up children from school, nanny will assist with light household tasks including walking the family dog, tidying up of common areas, and children’s laundry. During care, nanny will provide attentive supervision and engaging age-appropriate activities for both children while following household guidelines for discipline and routine. Snack and dinner prep will be part of care, and mom and dad are hoping to find someone who is a great communicator to create a successful partnership between nanny and family.
  
  Schedule
  
  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 2pm-6pm
  
  Requirements, per family request
  
  Nanny must:
  
  
  • Have at least 2 years of childcare experience
  • Actively engage through play and imagination while on the job
  • Have a safe, reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Be a non-smoker (including vape pens)
  • Be comfortable with dogs as the family pet is very important for this assignment
  • Abide by all family rules and routines
  
  
  Compensation
  
  
  • This position is hourly and pays between $17-$20/hr, pre-tax, based on experience
