Job Description:
- A great family in Elk Grove is seeking help for their son. He is in middle school and the afterschool programs are no longer available to him. He loved afterschool programs and they are looking for someone to engage with him so he can have fun in the 3 hours afterschool. He is non verbal, but can communicate with his ipad or some sign language. He is easy and loving and he loves to eat, so this needs to be managed. He does have a sister, but she will remain in an afterschool program. he does have epilepsy and catatonic seizures triggered by paprika and beets (used in food coloring) with Downs and Autism. They’re hoping to find a great communicator with an extroverted personality who can play and engage with him after homework is done. Someone who is mature and responsible will do well in this home.
Schedule
Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 2:30-5:30pm
The schedule may change in January
Requirements, per family request
Nanny must:
Have 2+ years of childcare experience
Actively engage through play and imagination while on the job
Be a non-smoker (including vape pens)
Compensation
This position is hourly and pays between $18-$23/hr, pre-tax, based on experience
