Job Description:
- Compensation:
- $35-38 per hour
A bit about us:
We’re a lively crew of 5, and our house is never boring! Think farmer’s market adventures, bike and scooter rides, epic board game battles, and lots of music (bonus points if you can carry a tune!) We respect our kids’ thoughts and feelings, so we encourage their independence, questions, and big feelings. Both of us parents work hybrid schedules and will be out of the house 2–3 days a week.
Our 7-year-old is a rule-following, chess whiz. He loves Science, climbing, biking, and Legos.
Our 5-year-old is the family comedian—her mission in life is to make her brother laugh! She’s all about art, storytelling, and sparkly things.
Our 3-year-old (almost 4) is a cuddlebug with a BIG personality. She’s into climbing, gymnastics, and all things artsy.
A bit about you:
You’re a morning superstar who loves chatting, storytelling, and getting the day started with positive vibes. You’re patient, energetic, and genuinely enjoy playing and engaging with kids. You know how to keep things fun, but structured. You possess great time management skills and can be a little firm when needed. You’re confident managing little ones’ safety whether walking or driving them to school.
Job Duties: Preparing breakfast, which could be cereal or pancakes (Mom may prep the pancake batter and then you cook it), telling/listening to stories, time management of the morning routine of kids eating, getting dressed, putting on their shoes, packing a snack, walking or driving children to school (they all attend the same school), ensuring safety, and ensuring they arrive on time each morning. After drop off, the last hour (8:30a-9:45a) is light household tasks such as cleaning up the kitchen from the morning rush, children’s laundry, and tidying the play area.
