  What You'll Do:
  
  • Provide care for children from a variety of families primarily on weekend days and evenings.
  • Plan fun and engaging activities, such as games, crafts, baking, or outdoor play, to keep kids entertained.
  • Handle meal or bedtime routines.
  • Help families by creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for their children.
    
    
  
  About you:
  
  • A reliable and responsible individual who families and kids can count on.
  • A warm, friendly, and engaging person who enjoys working with kids.
  • At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable car to reach assignments.
  • 1 year of verifiable childcare experience, such as babysitting, working in camps, or helping in a church nursery.
  
  
  Working Conditions and Requirements:
  

  • Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities
  • Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play
  • Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
  • Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
  • Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
  • May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
