- Part-Time Nanny for Newborn | Long-Term Position
Pay: $18.50/hr with eligibility for raises in the future
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85014
We are a warm and welcoming two-mom family seeking a caring, patient, and reliable nanny to support us in caring for our newborn (2MO) son. As first-time parents, we are looking for someone who brings a calm, knowledgeable, and nurturing presence into our home. Both of us moms work as physical therapists in hospital settings, so we are looking for consistent, dependable support during the week. Our home also includes two dogs and one cat, so comfort around pets is important (no pet care is required).
Our son is a relaxed and happy baby who typically only cries when he has a need to be met. We are hoping to find a nanny who can help support his early development while maintaining a calm and structured environment.
Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
(Start date: May | Long-term position preferred)
Responsibilities- Provide attentive, nurturing care for one newborn
- Support age-appropriate development and routines
- Bottle feeding and basic infant care
- Child-related laundry (as needed, such as after blowouts)
- Light child-related tidying and cleaning
- Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment
Qualifications- Prior newborn experience strongly preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
- Comfortable in a home with pets (2 dogs, 1 cat)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
